Home Staging

The Icing on the Cake

If you are selling your Home, skillful staging is incredibly important to how quickly it will sell and how much money you will get.  The ultimate goal of Home Staging, aside from the more tangible goal of getting top dollar for your house, is to encourage buyers to see themselves making your house their permanent home.

Staging is the icing on the cake - what you do after the cleaning, painting, repairing and de-cluttering.  (btw - if you haven't done the before stuff yet, check out my article here!)

Staging your home to sell can add the "it" factor it needs to fly off the market. Buyers want to be able to picture themselves in the home you’re selling.

I am beginning a carefully curated list of my favorite Home Staging articles (scroll down) - be sure to check back for updates!

Hiring a Professional Stager is something that pays for itself in fewer days on the market and more lucrative offers.  But many of us don’t have the money to hire a professional.  If you're doing it on your own, there are lots of tips for you below.

Like fine chocolate🍫, Home Staging advice is best consumed in small, digestible chunks.  Studies show that the Master Bedroom, Kitchen and Living Room benefit most from skillful staging.  If you have a home office, it shouldn't be overlooked.

  • Master Bedroom
  • Kids bedroom
  • Bathroom
  • Kitchen
  • Home office
